Principal Project Planner Scheduler
Provides complex planning and scheduling support to executive management in lead capacity of planning/scheduling responsibilities at the Portfolio, PMO, or land level development project assignments. Supports the project team with planning and schedule development on large multi-disciplined program(s)/project(s) throughout the entire project life cycle spectrum from concept development through turnkey completions, consistent with project needs and appropriate policies and procedures. Scope of planning and scheduling responsibilities include development/establishment of program/project schedules, facility, area development designs, building construction, show/ride production, installation, and commissioning stages.
Manager-Construction Facility Design
Organize and establish effective Project management; coordinate and manage creative design decisions and construction document production; minimize change orders during construction phases; effectively manage changes in the Project; where possible improve the Project schedule and budget; insure quality design and construction work; emphasize “hands-on” management of field operations; Provides engineering direction, guidance, oversight and acts as the SME for the design, and constructability of one or more of the following disciplines Facility Mechanical, Electrical, BMS/FAC, Plumbing and Civil systems resort wide, from infrastructure concept design through vertical build out of all MEP systems.
8+ years of experience working in either design/engineering, construction management or construction firms dealing both with entertainment design and construction management; also experience dealing with large scale construction projects along or with experience in working in various positions with a general contractor dealing with estimating, budgeting, bidding, field experience dealing with all aspects of projects required. Hotels/Resorts/Commercial Building Background Required
Sr. Project Estimator
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineer. Master’s degree in Construction Management or Business Administration preferred.-5-10 years’ on-site construction and estimating experience on retail, food, hotel, theme parks and themed entertainment projects, knowledge of show and ride estimating, and facility impacts required 10-15 years’ on-site construction and estimating experience for owners and/or contractors for in the Resort/Entertainment field of commercial construction.
Associate Engineer, Ride and Show
Provides engineering technical (calculation, design, drafting, research) support to the Ride/Show teams.
Reviews portions of vendor-provided design review documents. Includes drawing review, component selection review, calculation review, test plan review, test results review, or review of other deliverable items as specified by engineering management.
Edits and updates Ride/Show engineering specifications as specifically assigned by Ride/Show engineering management.
Assists Ride/Show team in managing vendors through the process of bidding, designing, manufacturing, testing, shipping, installation, start up, and commissioning of Ride/Show systems.
Reviews, edits, or develops test protocols, procedures, and plans.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field required. Advanced degrees preferred. EXPERIENCE: Project experience in theme park development, construction, show and ride systems design or fabrication within the entertainment/theme park industry preferred.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 2-4 years’ experience in theme park specific technical/engineering role(s)
Sr. Engineer, Ride and Show
Mentor and lead Ride/Show team members on technical requirements in support of existing park expansion and/or venue development. Reviews vendor-provided design review documents. Includes drawing review, component selection review, calculation review, test plan review or test results review.
Makes direct engineering contributions to projects as required. Performs Ride/Show systems research, contributes to Ride/Show systems scope, specification, design or analysis, field assistance for installation, test, and adjust. Maintains, modifies, enforces, and interprets specifications, standards, and technical contracting methods. Assists with updates for Ride/Show technical specifications. Supports the design and delivery of attraction systems and verifies systems meet all quality control requirements.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in an applicable technical field required. Advanced degrees preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 7+ years’ experience in theme park specific technical/engineering role(s) required. Experience in theme park development, construction, show and ride systems design or fabrication.
